Social Networking with Electric Car.. Think! EV is planning it.
I just watched this video about the Think! EV. The Think! EV is an electric car that was once produced by Ford but has since been sold off and largely unnoticed for the past few years. Things are surely going to change soon. If you watch the below video at around 5:15 they start talking about texting your car to see what the charge status is and even implementing some sort of Social Networking platform around your vehicle! This is crazy but seriously interesting. Sort of like velospace but more involved. I wonder if you will ever be able to implement scripts or programs that will allow the cars to “communicate.” I just feel like it would be alot more interesting if there was a way for cars to recognize when something is going wrong and then alert other cars to see if they’ve had the same problems and what their owners did to rectify them. This information could then be passed along to their owner via a text or email. Am I crazy or are the possibilties for this endlessly cool?
